Frequently asked questions

Questions about Habito

What is Habito?
Habito is a family subscription app where elementary-age children manage their daily tasks and learning together with AI. The child proposes today's tasks and the reward they want, the family agrees, and completed tasks turn into points and family-defined rewards. Habito is made by Noventis Co., Ltd. and is available on iOS and Android.
How is Habito different from other parenting apps?
Unlike control apps that restrict or monitor screens, or reward apps that turn chores into game quests or allowance, Habito focuses on the child's participation, learning support and understanding the process. The child proposes tasks, gets hints instead of answers when stuck, and parents see not just completion but the learning process and mood flow in a weekly report.
Does Habito AI give my child the answers?
No. Habito AI uses a hint ladder: it gives a hint first and explains step by step if the child asks again. For writing, it never ghostwrites; it helps the child polish their own sentences. Photo and text submissions are checked by AI first and passed to a parent when unclear; the family makes the final call. Parents switch AI on or off per child, set question limits and can read the question log.
What can parents see?
On the Today and weekly boards, parents see each child's tasks, completion flow and point balance, and can adjust points directly. Once a week a parent report with learning insights and mood flow is generated automatically, giving you a starting point for conversation. Two parents can co-manage, and children join through an invite link.
How much does Habito cost?
Free: 1 child, 3 active tasks, points and general rewards. Premium ($9.99/month): up to 3 children, unlimited tasks, Habito AI hints, writing and memorizing, mood diary and full reports, 14-day free trial. Max ($15.99/month): up to 6 children, expanded AI usage. Records, points and promised rewards are kept even after a subscription ends.
